The hotel is the largest in Kiel and still run by a family, which made it feel super cozy and friendly. Plus, the newly built cruise ship terminal nearby gave us a sick view of the huge ships.

The only thing we'd ask for is a better party scene for young people. It would've been awesome to have some cool hangout spots or a rooftop bar where we could turn up with our friends.

Access to kiel canal. Room was nice. Nothing beats being in berliner hof. Fortunately, free Wi-Fi was available.

This place is in a great location near Kiel Canal, making it perfect for a weekend getaway, and we would definitely recommend it as we had a pleasant stay.

Er waren talloze bezienswaardigheden, winkels en restaurants op loopafstand. We hebben genoten van het verkennen van de charmante straatjes van de stad en het ontdekken van de lokale keuken. Bovendien was het hotel goed verbonden met Amsterdam, waardoor het gemakkelijk was om een dagtrip naar de hoofdstad te maken.

Helaas hadden we wat problemen met de kamer. Er was dubbel geluidsoverlast, waardoor ons verblijf minder aangenaam was.

Location was great right next to the main railway station...the room was clean comfortable and quite big...recommend

Lovely central location near shopping center. The beds were good and the room spacious. Nice international breakfast. Able to park our car behind the hotel.

Great value for money, cozy room, and amazing location with a variety of attractions and restaurants nearby. The staff at Berliner Hof were incredibly friendly and treated us like family.

The breakfast menu could use some improvement, maybe adding more variety or some local specialties.

Being woken at 2.30am,3.30am,4.30am etc by the tannoy system from the railway station over the road.Obviously the hotel has no control over this.

For dads, it would be great to have a playground for children.

The Hotel is located within easy walking distance of the main Train station and the Cruise Liners berths and within easy reach of all transport links and town centre. Hotel staff very friendly, effecient and informative.The room is well equipt, light and airy spacious and comfortable, with modern decoration. Although we did not have a main meal at the Hotel, the hotel staff provided an excellent pack lunch to accommodate our early start. An excellent Hotel , well located all you would wish for.

The hotel is located right in the city center, very close to the train station in Kiel, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout your stay. The rooms are comfortable, with good beds and nice bathrooms. The breakfast offering is impressive, with a tasty shrimp salad to start your day.

Friendly and helpful Staff both on arrival and throughout our 2 night stopover.Centrally situated for both shopping complex ,bus, Rail , Ferry and Cruiseship connections which are situated in the immediate vicinity of the Hotel.Understand Family owned and hyas been opeartional since 1902.Hotel has arrangement with local transport facilities allowing Guests free travel on bus services within a certain radius of the Hotel. Would rate this establishment second to none in its class/Category

This hotel is a great find for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in the center of Kiel. With its prime location directly at the central train station and right in the heart of the city center, it's perfect for exploring all that Kiel has to offer. The staff here are friendly and helpful, ensuring that every guest feels welcome. The rooms are well-equipped with all the necessities, and I particularly loved the nice bathroom with its attention to detail. this hotel offers great value for money.

All aspects of my stay were more than satisfactory.

Very convinient parking in the yard, and not expensive (5 E) compered to other hotels in Kiel. Small rooms, but for only one night it wass all right.

A bit worn out, but for the price we paid it was good value
